For the domestic 2022–23 season, Cricket South Africa (CSA) has announced the squads from the fifteen regional teams. The promotion and relegation system will start after this season, which bodes well for the 2022–23 CSA Domestic season.
The CSA T20 Challenge 2022 is planned to begin on February 7, 2022, and end on February 27, 2022. There will be eight clubs in the CSA T20 Challenge league, which will take the place of the Mzansi Super League (MSL). As the reigning champions, the Imperial Lions will compete in the competition. Before the top two teams advance to the knockout round, each team will play seven league games.
