Legends League: Harbhajan’s Team Got First Win
Legendary spinner Harbhajan Singh’s team Manipal Tigers has registered its first win in the Legends Cricket League. He defeated Irfan Pathan’s team Bhilwara Kings by 3 runs. With this win, the hopes of the Tigers to move forward remain intact.
The Tigers have 4 points in the points table. He has played a total of four matches. In one of these, he has got a chance to taste his victory. The King’s team has three points in its share. The Kings have also won a match.
Tigers scored 175 runs in Cuttack on Monday night. In reply, the Kings team led by Irfan Pathan could only score 172 runs. Sri Lankan fast bowler Dilhara Fernando took four wickets to stop him from doing so.
Legends League: Ryder-Taebu century partnership
Jesse Ryder scored 47, Tatenda Taibu scored 54, Corey Anderson 24, and Mohammad Kaif scored 32 runs for the Tigers. Ryder and Taibu started off well with a partnership of 109 runs off 64 balls.
For Bhilwara Kings, Tino Boast performed well, as usual, taking three wickets, while Yusuf got two successes. Fidel Edwards and Karia took a wicket each.

For Kings, Yusuf Pathan played an innings of 42 runs adorned with 4 sixes. Apart from them, William Porterfield (28) and Matt Prior (17) put on 43 runs for the second wicket. Prior could not stay on the wicket for long.
Yusuf, along with his younger brother and captain Irfan (23 runs, 14 balls, 2 fours, 2 sixes), made quick runs to take the score to 140. Now the team needed 36 runs from the last 18 balls.
Legends League: The team won due to Fernando’s two wickets in the last over
Kings needed 9 runs in the last over to win. Fernando got Bishnoi caught by Kaif on the very first ball. Now Tino Best and Tim Bresnan were on the wicket.
Best took two runs off the third ball as an outside edge. Now 6 runs were needed from three balls. Fernando almost eliminated the possibility by bowling Best to ensure his team’s first win.
