Watson Expresses His View On Bumrah Not Being A Part Of T20 World Cup 2022!
ICC Review Show event took off recently where Watson was a part and he expresses his view on Bumrah not being a part of the game.
Watson says, that “the player he would put in if Jasprit is not available is Mohammed Siraj, because of the firepower he presents. Without Bumrah, that’s the one thing India won’t necessarily have, which is vital on Australian wickets on the bigger grounds with the pace and bounce.”
Adding further he says, “Siraj is great with the brand-new ball. He is fast, he swings the ball away but also his defensive skills are pretty good. And he has got better over the last couple of years with what we have seen in the IPL, for me, he is probably going to be the one who is going to have the most impact.”
Further, he expresses how the team India will be affected in the game due to the absence of one of the star players in the game.
“Honestly, I think it’s going to have a huge impact on India’s chances of winning the T20 World Cup.”
Watson says that Bumrah is of the best bowlers in the world and India in particular, with their fast bowlers, he is the main guy who can take wickets with the brand-new ball but is also an incredible defensive bowler at the back end of the game. So, if Jasprit is not available to play in his T20 World Cup, then India’s chances drop quite a bit.”
Bumrah will not be a part of the game T20 World Cup 2022 which is one of the biggest events owing to his back injury caused. The player is badly injured in his back during the fixture with South Africa.
Considering his health is not in a state to play the game BCCI announces about player not being a part of World Cup T20 2022.
