The American Family Insurance Championship prize fund totals $360,000 with $211,200 going to the runner-up in second place. The American Family Insurance Championship prize money distribution chart displays a payout of 15% of the total purse to the winner, and how much each PGA Tour Champions competitor will earn is guaranteed all the way down to the last player, who will receive $1,075 for finishing in 80th place.
The prize money is the focus of the competition, but the Charles Schwab Cup points are what the winner will most likely gain. Each dollar collected will be worth one regular season point toward 2022 Charles Schwab Cup playoff eligibility.
